Seven Alvies men's styles carry sizes 14 and 15 today. Size 16 is not stocked; custom through Olsen-Stelzer is the route beyond that.
Sizes 14 and 15 exist across seven Alvies men's styles in the house right now. Size 16 is not stocked on the site.
Anyone who has shopped for boots at the top of a size run knows the routine: pick a style you like, click through to the size chart, and find out the maker stopped at 12. This page exists to save you that step for the house's Alvies lineup — what's actually in stock at 14 and 15, and what to do if your foot is outside that range entirely.
Big feet get treated as an afterthought by a lot of boot makers, with large sizes trickling in as a late-added option on one or two styles. That is not the case here: seven different Alvies styles, spanning classic toe, snip toe, square toe, and an exotic option, carry both size 14 and size 15 in stock. If you wear a 14 or 15, you have a real choice of leather, toe shape, and price point rather than whatever happens to be left over.
Which cowboy boots come in size 14 and 15?
Seven Alvies men's styles have both 14 and 15 in stock at the time of writing: The Lamar, The Shoal Creek, The Comal, The Manchaca, The Congress, The 6th Street and THE BFG II. Availability changes daily, so each product page is the source of truth.
At the time of writing, these Alvies men's styles have both 14 and 15 in stock:
| Style | Sizes 14/15 in stock |
|---|---|
| The Lamar | 14, 15 |
| The Shoal Creek | 14, 15 |
| The Comal | 14, 15 |
| The Manchaca | 14, 15 |
| The Congress | 14, 15 |
| The 6th Street | 14, 15 |
| THE BFG II | 14, 15 |
Availability changes daily. The product page for each style is the source of truth at checkout, not this list.
A quick look at what each style actually is, per its own product description: The Lamar is a premium cowhide boot based on the classic-toe, cowboy-heel boots Alvie's grandfather wore. The Shoal Creek is the house's square-toe style. The Comal carries a quarter-inch snip toe. The Manchaca is a roper-style boot with a short heel and rounded toe. The Congress is built in Teju lizard, the exotic option in the group. The 6th Street is a python boot. THE BFG II is a co-designed style with Texas musician Billy F Gibbons. Between the seven, you've got cowhide, exotic lizard, and python, and round, square, and snip toe shapes, all in sizes 14 and 15.
Do big sizes fit differently?
No. The same four checks apply regardless of size: the heel should slip roughly ¼ to ½ an inch per Alvies' try-on guide, the instep should feel snug, the ball of the foot should sit at the widest part of the boot, and the toes should have a little wiggle room. See our fit hub for the full breakdown. Start from your everyday size, as the house's product pages advise, then read each style's fit notes: some styles share a last and others do not (The Perry Lane's page says "Slightly narrower last than The Rainey or Guadalupe"), and that holds true at size 15 the same as it does at size 9.
This matters more, not less, at the top of a size run. When a stock chart runs out at 12 or 13, a size 14 or 15 buyer is sometimes tempted to buy whatever is available in their size without checking the same four points they'd check on a smaller size, just to avoid missing out. Don't skip the check. A boot that's the wrong width or the wrong last at size 15 is exactly as wrong as it would be at size 9 — it's just harder to find a replacement if it doesn't work.
Widths in big sizes
All seven styles above carry D and EE width options in stock. A wider foot at a large size is still a width question, not a length question — see our wide-feet guide before assuming you need to size up or down to solve a width problem. Buyers with a large, wide foot sometimes assume they simply need "the biggest size available," but a 14 in a D width and a 14 in an EE width are two different fits on the same last, and picking the right one is a width decision, not a length decision.
The same instep and heel checks apply at a large size, too. Alvies' try-on guide's heel range — roughly ¼ to ½ an inch of slip — doesn't change because the boot is bigger, and neither does the advice to listen for the pop as the boot seats. A size 15 boot that slips more than that at the heel is telling you the same thing a size 9 would: try a different width, or a different style built on a different last.
Is size 16 available?
No. Size 16 does not exist on bespokewestern.com at the time of writing. We'd rather tell you that plainly than have you land on a product page hoping it's hiding in a size chart somewhere. For a foot outside the house's stocked sizes, the route is custom: Olsen-Stelzer builds made-to-measure boots ordered directly, with delivery stated at 8 to 12 weeks on its history page, and starting prices published on its own pricing page (read 2026-09-08, reference values only — every pair varies). That is a different process, timeline, and price tier than the stocked Alvies styles above, but it is the option when stock sizing runs out.
