Olsen-Stelzer — Coming Soon

Olsen-Stelzer Custom Boots

Made to measure in Texas since 1900. Olsen-Stelzer is the custom tier of the Bespoke Western house. Every pair is built to your measurements, in the leather, toe, heel and stitching you choose. Nothing here is pulled from a shelf.

Where the boots come from

Carl Olsen, a Norwegian shoemaker, started in Nocona, Texas in 1900 and opened his own shop in Henrietta. In 1934 he joined Julius Stelzer to form the Olsen-Stelzer Boot and Saddlery Company. By 1939 the shop built 500 pairs a week. Olsen-Stelzer boots were worn by John Wayne, President Eisenhower and President Truman, and the 1942 Bluebird boots made for Gene Autry are on display at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles. What custom means here

You choose the hide, the stitching, the toe and heel shape, the top height and any inlay or initials. Olsen-Stelzer takes your size, width and the other measurements from its measuring guide, then returns an exact price and an estimated delivery date. Collector Edition designs from the 1930s and 40s, such as the Bronc Buster, Eagle, Oil Derrick and Bluebird, are available.
