About Bespoke Western

Bespoke Western is a modern house of Western brands built to protect authentic craftsmanship while unlocking scale through shared services, disciplined productization, and authentic storytelling. It brings together Alvies, Hevias, Olsen-Stelzer and Dixon Boots under one roof, on the thesis that everybody wants to be a cowboy.

What is the House of Western Brands?

Bespoke Western is the house behind four brands. Alvies is the Austin boot brand that started in an Airstream in 2014 and joined the house in 2025. Hevias is the Dallas leather goods studio, launched in 2021, that makes the house's boots and loafers for men. Olsen-Stelzer is the made-to-measure custom bootmaker with a company history that runs back to 1900 in Henrietta, Texas. Dixon Boots is the heritage brand, the traditional Texas cowboy boot. The mission line the house works from: brands that "endure, grow, and lead the next generation of Western culture."

What does bespokewestern.com carry?

This storefront carries the Alvies and Hevias lines: cowboy boots, loafers, belts and leather goods, plus cowboy boot socks and accessories. Shop the full range at /collections/boots, or go direct to Alvies and Hevias.

What is Olsen-Stelzer, and how is it different?

Olsen-Stelzer is the house's custom tier. It is not stocked and sized off a shelf; it is made-to-measure and ordered directly from Olsen-Stelzer. Browse the house's Olsen-Stelzer collection at /collections/olsen-stelzer, which points to the maker's own site for measurement and ordering.

Where is the Bespoke Western showroom?

The showroom is at 104 Main Street, Saint Jo, Texas, and carries the house's entire catalog — Alvies and Hevias boots, loafers, socks and leather goods, in person. No hours are published here; use the contact page to confirm a time before you drive out. Read more at the Saint Jo showroom page.

Who founded Bespoke Western?

Bespoke Western was founded by George Frederick Baker, Sr., who serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Ownership runs through 2 the Moon Ventures, his venture firm. Before Bespoke Western, Baker founded ParkHub in 2010, later merged with JustPark. Read his full profile at /pages/george-baker.

How does the house work?

Founders stay in the build rather than stepping aside once a brand joins the house. Alvie Faulkenbery IV, who started Alvies from an Airstream, remains the house's creative lead. Rian McCartan founded Hevias in 2021 and built it as an independent leather goods studio before it joined the house. Shared services sit underneath the brands rather than replacing what each one already does well.

Two things are consistent across the boot brands: every Alvies boot and every welted Hevias boot is Goodyear welted — a leather strip stitched to the upper and insole, then to the outsole, so the boot can be resoled rather than replaced — and the house owns its lasts, the foot forms each boot style and size is built around.

What is The Field Guide and The Outpost?

The Field Guide is the house's reference for buying and caring for Western footwear. The Outpost is its journal, covering everything from toe shapes to exotic leathers to how a boot should fit. Start at /pages/the-field-guide.
