Hevias is an independent leather goods studio in Dallas, Texas, founded by Rian McCartan and launched in July 2021. It is the premium men's line of the Bespoke Western house: Goodyear-welted boots, loafers, belts and leather goods built in León, Mexico.

Who is Hevias?

Hevias describes itself as an independent leather goods studio in Dallas, building "a contemporary reinterpretation of classic Western heritage." Its lines are "Walk the Kingdom™" and "Do it right, make it count." Its credo, in its own words: "We do what is right, not what is easy. No shortcuts. No cheap imitations. No compromise." Rian McCartan founded the brand and continues to shape it inside the house. The GlobeNewswire launch announcement of July 24, 2021 names him Founder and CEO.

How are Hevias boots built?

Hevias says it owns its supply chain "from material sourcing to final construction" and builds in León, Mexico. Every welted Hevias boot uses the Goodyear welt, a leather strip stitched to the upper and insole and then to the outsole, and is fully resolable. The materials Hevias names are American Bison, Reticulated Python, Nile Crocodile, which Hevias notes is a CITES-regulated exotic, and full-grain Argentinian calfskin.
